Creative Drop-In

12.00-2.00pm

On 7 October 1977 the band Meal Ticket played at the Poly. Sadly Rick Jones died in 2021 but not before we spoke to him about an unreleased track that he and the band recorded for Gilly Fraser’s play ‘Do a Dance for Daddy’, orginally directed by Verity Bargate. Today, as part of this week’s creative drop-in we will play this unreleased Meal Ticket track for the first time and explain its significance. All as part of another creative drop-in at our GO TO space. No need to book. Tea and Coffee provided.

On Tuesday lunchtimes throughout the Autumn,  drop in to our GO TO creative space, 12-2pm. Come and Write, Make, Play or Read in any way that works for you.

Each week, you can come and listen to some vinyl on our record player, sit and read or write, make things, or just chat about ideas with our artistic directors and other friends. Keep an eye out for extra activities and special guests too.
