Diving Bell Prize for Environmental and Nature Poetry
6-7.30pm (doors 5.45)
The inaugural Diving Bell Prize for Environmental and Nature Poetry is a new award set up within the University of Westminster to celebrate new writing and foster conversations around climate change, environmental issues and our relationship with the world around us. Join us at the Prize reading on Wednesday 26th February, at 6pm at the Soho Poly to hear work from the shortlisted poets, as well as a short reading from poet and prize founder Hannah Copley (a winner of the 2024 International Laurel Prize), discussion about environmental writing (and the judging process) from fellow judge Dr Lucy Bond, and to learn the winning poems of the inaugural prize.
